Fly, Robin, Fly was the first record I ever purchased.

The song was heavy radio rotation in 1975 and this kid had to have it. Four decades later and the urge to collect vinyl is stronger than ever. Its the collector in me that created the Wax Rax line.

Wax Rax is proud to begin our third year manufacturing premier vinyl access units and accessories. There will be a bunch of exciting new designs and products released in mid 2016 but first I wanted to recap some highlights from the year past.

DMC-USA turntable battles

Wax Rax was delighted to sponsor and provide two RC-2 carts as grand prizes for the winners of the New York regional and championship DJ competition. Hosted by Rane and organized by Christie Z. Pabon we had the pleasure to watch the best freestyle DJ's in the country perform their feats of turntablism. Congratulations to Dwells (NYC regional) and Precision (National Champion) on their talents and victories.

NYC x DESIGN - BKLYNdesigns + ICFF

Two new products made a debut this May during design Month in New York City. Wax Rax participated in the two biggest shows, BRKLYNdesigns and the International Contemporary Furniture Fair. (ICFF) The LP-V3 tower and the LP-H vinyl & stereo console both received a fantastic response from the audio and design community alike.

Exciting Press

Wax Rax received so many compliments and fantastic editorial from the design and audio communities that we could not resist sharing a few highlights. Interior Design Magazine showcased the LP-V3 in their Fall Market Tabloid. Brooklyn Magazine included the RC-1 cart in their list 100 Brooklyn Design Objects We Love. Mega collector, DJ and music historian Jameson Harvey aka DJ Prestige sent us love with a thoughtful review of the 45A adapter.

New in 2016

A new and improved website is in the works as are a few "top secret" designs that will continue in the Wax Rax tradition of improving your vinyl listening experience in style.

Here's to a great year of new music and design.

Cheers,

David
